Surrealist Afternoon Tea at Sotheby’s

Surrealist Afternoon Tea at Sotheby’s

Life is happening…welcome Amber! I have not blogged for a while but with the near year, something new came into our life – a pooch. Since early January Amber has made us laugh and had made us loose sleep. Days have gone by without realising it, between vet visits, health scare, poop scooping and pipi training.  So it’s nearly mid February and I find myself finally getting to the blog again with something that I really enjoyed last Sunday, with…

A meal at Galvins la Chapelle, City

A meal at Galvins la Chapelle, City

A few weeks ago @bmcboy and I celebrated a special occasion. It took a while to select a restaurant, and in the end we picked Galvins la Chapelle. On the other hand, being a traditional Neapolitan I do not have a Nespresso machine, preferring the more old fashion moka, but since plenty of my friends…

A meal at Dabbous, Bloomsbury

A meal at Dabbous, Bloomsbury

***this restaurant has since closed down*** Some three months ago someone mentioned Dabbous. I knew nothing about it but how could I resist booking a table at what looked like a really interesting place to visit? So I opted the first available date, for a far away day in May. What seemed ages away quickly arrived and by now, Dabbous had been visited by worthy critics and fellow bloggers, and the expectations were mounting. Reservations were as coveted as a…
